Best of 2024
Happy New Year!
Life is different since my last post. Specifically in the, I’m a father, sort of way. In the back half of 2024, waiting for Ruby, I entered a state of severe senioritis. It was hard to concentrate on much other than the fact that life would soon be profoundly different.
Our littlest love arrived 11/28 and of course it’s been the most astounding and normal rollercoaster of wonder. I think this is illustrated by the feeling I have when I leave to do an errand. I’m driving somewhere and looking around thinking, “wow, these people have no idea. they completely don’t realize that my life is totally different and now I’m a DAD!” But… most of the people around me are also parents. So special. So mundane.
Anyways, all of that to say, we’ll see what the new year brings (so many photos of Ruby) but it was still fun to look back at the year and see which pics stood out.
Even more than usual this year I was really drawn to photos that evoked some emotion, rather than those that maybe looked the prettiest.
So here they are, my top feelers of 2024.
